On April 23rd - 26th, a team from Skyscanner for Business will attend Routes Europe 2016 in Krakow. The team will be based on stand S43, so make sure that you stop by and say hi!
The route development forum is an essential event for all companies with an aviation focus and will bring together a range of airlines, airports and tourism authorities and we are looking forward to meeting with the most influential aviation professionals from around the world.
The Skyscanner for Business presence at Routes Europe will give attendees an opportunity to learn more about our Travel Insight product, which is being used by partners such as Dublin Airport, Glasgow Tourism and Iberia Express. The data product is designed to help businesses accurately predict future demand - helping them to drive a competitive advantage and optimise revenue.
Travel Insight also enables the identification of user trends such self-connecting - where a passenger builds their own itinerary and travels with 2 separate tickets to save money or stop-over for tourism. In 2015, on average 12.6% of users chose to self-connect, which is up from 2014. With data that can provide insight into such trends, airlines, airports and tourism authorities can ready themselves with strategies that are in line with the future of the travel industry.
Meet with Faical Allou of Skyscanner Analytics
Our stand at Routes Europe (S43) will be hosted by Faical Allou. Having spent a number of years working for airlines, including Royal Air Maroc and Lufthansa as well as Sabre Airline Solutions, Faical joined Skyscanner with a thorough understanding of the challenges that members of the travel sector face and the problems that they want to solve. It was with this knowledge that Faical began working with the Travel Insight product and developing unique, client-based solutions.
